Yashica Electro 8 LD-8 Vintage 1970s Movie Camera Working Untested with Film

This listing is for a vintage Yashica Electro 8 LD-8 Super 8 movie camera manufactured in Japan during the 1970s. Designed for analog cinematography, this model features a high-performance Yashinon-DX f/1.6 7.5-60mm electric zoom lens with an 8x zoom ratio, offering SLR microprism focusing and automatic exposure control (TTL EE).

The camera operates via 6 x AA batteries housed within the integrated pistol grip handle, eliminating the need for hard-to-find proprietary power packs. It features adjustable filming speeds of 18, 24, and 36 frames per second plus single-frame mode, auto fade-in/fade-out functions, and continuous lap dissolve capability. Included with the camera is a fitted hard protective carrying case.

Please note that motor function and battery contacts have been power-tested; however, the unit has not been tested with live Super 8 film stock.
